During its latest Keynote in September 2021, Apple also lifted the veil on a new version of the “classic” iPad, which has since become the entry-level version. It incorporates an A13 Bionic chip for more power, a 12 MegaPixel ultra-wide-angle front camera that allows the Center Stage until now reserved for the iPad Pro and that allows better image retention. The iPad still benefits from a 10.2-inch Retina display, Apple Pencil, and Smart Keyboard. Above all, the basic version finally benefits from improved storage, going from 32 GB to 64 GB. This is good news as the low capacity of 32 GB made it very difficult to use the iPad and made this version highly discouraged.
The 9th generation iPad is usually available from 389 euros. However, it is not uncommon to find it on sale, especially during certain events (sale, Black Friday…). There are two storage options available (64GB and 256GB), as well as two colors (silver and space gray).
The iPad Pro did not benefit from a new version during the last Keynote of 2021, but it was expected since a new version of the high-end iPad had already been presented shortly before. As a reminder, the iPad Pro is an improved version of the famous Apple tablet. Available in two different form factors, 11-inch (3rd generation) and 12.9-inch (5th generation), this version of the iPad is the most advanced yet. It is noteworthy that the latest generation iPad Pro is equipped with the famous Apple M1 chip that allows it to show solid performance, two photosensors of 10 Mpx and 12 Mpx.
Count at least 899 euros for the 11-inch version and 1,219 euros for the 12.9-inch one. Please note that these two versions can support 5G communication networks if you have a relevant plan.
